• Must be a Nigerian citizen by birth

• Must be single (unmarried)

• Must possess a valid National Identity Card (NIN slip) or BVN

• Must be physically, medically, and psychologically fit as per Nigerian Army standards

• Must have no criminal record

• Must have at least four passes, including English Language, in not more than two sittings in WASSCE, GCE, NECO, or NABTEB

• Tradesmen/women must have a Trade Test Certificate or Guild Certificate

• Age limit:

  • Non-Trades candidates: 18 - 22 years (as of June 30, 2025)

  • Trades candidates: Not more than 26 years (as of June 30, 2025)

• Minimum height requirement:

  • Males: 1.68 meters

  • Females: 1.65 meters

• Must provide a valid certificate of state of origin

• Must not have tattoos, body inscriptions, or body piercings

• Must not be a member of any secret cult or fraternity
