Senior Machine Learning Engineer

We are looking for a Senior AI/ML Engineer with expertise in LLMs, inference optimisation, and clinical fine-tuning to join our growing team. This is a full-time, UK-based hybrid position where you will work on developing and deploying cutting-edge AI models for clinical trials and healthcare applications. You will be responsible for designing, training, and optimising machine learning models while ensuring scalability, reliability, and efficiency in cloud-based and on-premises AI deployments.

• LLM Development & Fine-Tuning: Design, train, and fine-tune Large Language Models (LLMs) for clinical applications, ensuring optimal performance on biomedical datasets.

• Inference Optimisation: Optimise model inference for efficiency, latency, and scalability across cloud and edge deployments.

• Clinical AI & Biomedical Knowledge: Work on integrating biomedical ontologies, FHIR, SNOMED-CT, UMLS, and ICD-10 into AI pipelines.

• MLOps & Cloud Deployment: Build and maintain AI pipelines using Kubeflow, MLflow, and cloud services(AWS, Azure, GCP) to ensure scalable and reproducible AI workflows.

• AI Agents & Automation: Develop and implement autonomous AI agents that assist in clinical data analysis, trial eligibility assessment, and decision support.

• Collaboration & Research: Work closely with clinical researchers, data scientists, and software engineers to translate AI advancements into real-world healthcare solutions.

• Regulatory Compliance & Security: Ensure adherence to UK healthcare data regulations, including NHS Data Security, GDPR, and MHRA guidelines in AI model development and deployment.
